Founded in 2005, Candela spent over 15 years building one of the warmest, most vibrant Latin dance communities in Melbourne —renowned for its deep Cuban vibes and irresistible Latin energy. Now, the original flame is rekindled and evolving for a new era.

This summer, we are bringing back the classic Candela spirit with an expanded vision. While grounded in our signature Cuban roots, our classes now weave in elements of Puerto Rican, Dominican and Colombian flavour. The result is an authentic, versatile approach to social dancing that gives you the confidence to dance with anyone, anytime.
